Miquel Murga is an actor and communicator who has combined theater, radio and television throughout his professional career.
Since 1979, when he joined the founding group of the radio station of his hometown, Sant Boi, and until today, he has not stopped working in these areas and has eventually combined with publicity, film and management of large events for different companies.
Almost in 1980, the Sant Boi radio station became Radio Municipal. It ended up being the program director until joining Ràdio Avui - Cadena 13, the first experience of a private radio station in Catalan. There he co-created, together with Xavier Guix, two of the programs that marked the beginning of a new way to make radio, fresh and fun: "Campi qui dormi" and "El fresco del dia".
At the same time he also created, together with Xavier Guix, the company Tutti-Teatre (later Companyia Guix i Murga), which, for many years, revolved throughout Catalonia with its shows.
Then came his TVE in Catalunya and the incorporation to the team of TV3 program "Tres pics i repicó", directed by Joaquim Ma. Puyal and that represented an important step in his televising career, especially with regard to the recognition of the public, given the large audience and incidence that had the program.
Later on, other programs would be broadcast on state-level television stations such as "Un, dos, tres ... retorda otra vez" by Chicho Ibáñez Serrador, and the return to TV3 as an actor and member of the screenwriting team of the program "Surti com surti" , presented by the comedian Jordi LP. His visit to Televisió de Catalunya culminated in the creation and direction of the "A + a +" contest, which lasted five seasons on the air.
After his time in Catalonia for almost nine seasons and during COM Ràdio i Ràdio Estel, during the last seasons he has been heard in Ràdio 4 de RNE, where he has directed and presented, for four seasons, the program "El millor de every house ", which was broadcast on Saturdays and Sundays in the morning, and then directing and presenting the daily program" Life is hard, però es fa estimar "for all of Catalonia.
At the moment you are the creator and responsible for the realization of the radio microphones "El diari sonor", which emit different stations throughout Catalonia.
He combines these works with his theatrical projects as an actor, author and director. One of his last comedies, "Three dies a Rio", is in production process in Castilian and Russian.
He has performed and directed the Catalan versions of works such as "Divorci" by Franz Keppler and Otàvio Martins, "Vis a vis a Hawaii" by José Luis Alonso de Santos, "An indecent family" by Ever Blanchet, "Quan l'amor és a joc "of which he himself is author or" La pipa de la pau "by Alicia Muñoz, all premiered in Barcelona at the Gaudí and Versus Teatre Theaters. In the same Teatre Gaudí of Barcelona he has released and directed the Catalan version of one of the most successful comedies of José Luis Alonso de Santos "Pares y Nines", in català "T'estimo, però no tant", that for four seasons has remained on the block with great critical and public success
Precisely this success has been the main reason for his version of the work, in Spanish, also directed by him, is premiered at the Teatro Principe Gran Via in Madrid and is currently on tour throughout Spain.
Prepares a new premiere in Barcelona scheduled for the autumn of this year 2017.
